India has announced elimination of all single-use plastic in their country by 2022 (with an immediate ban in Delhi)

The EPA has released updated guidance on points to consider when preparing a TSCA new chemical notifications in response to comments received from the public and stakeholders.

During a review meeting at the USDA Forest Service Forest Products Laboratory (FPL) in Madison, Wisconsin, the USDA Forest Service and the US Endowment for Forestry and Communities discussed a public-private partnership named P3Nano examined projects in which they had co-invested in 2016 in an effort to fund cellulose nanomaterials research ($4 million total, $2 million from FS, $2 million from the partner).

As of January 1, 2018, notifiers are now required to provide information on nanomaterials contained in chemical products in Sweden according to a decision made by The Swedish Chemicals Agency (KEMI) in December 2017.
