EPA: Considerations When Preparing TSCA New Chemical Notifications

The EPA has released updated guidance on points to consider when preparing a TSCA new chemical notifications in response to comments received from the public and stakeholders. The guidance included information important to new chemical submitters including:

• general guidance relating to new chemical notices;
•  preparation of Pre-manufacture Notices, Significant New Use Notices, and Exemption notices;
• EPA scientific approaches; and
• best practices.
