On October 21st, 2026, Vireo Advisors, New Harvest, and NC State hosted a hybrid CMSI Scaffold Working Group Meeting to review survey results and plan their publication. Over the past months, the working group organized a survey to gain input from researchers, industry professionals, and scaffold experts and gather information about scaffold technologies and safety considerations. The survey is intended to support the development of scaffold categorization schemes and safety frameworks to promote their safe use in cellular agriculture.

While we are reviewing the initial set of information, we welcome additional submissions which will be incorporated into our analysis as the project proceeds.
